We’re thrilled to share that on March 6 the Government confirmed it will not proceed with these changes. This is a significant win for the macular disease community.
This edition also covers geographic atrophy (late-stage dry AMD), including updates on newly approved treatments that may help slow disease progression, and emerging research exploring innovative technologies to improve vision.
As we celebrate 25 years, we also look to the future. Over the past quarter of a century, the Foundation has grown alongside the community it serves — and what has remained constant is our commitment to ensuring people affected by macular disease feel informed, supported, and never alone.
Thank you for being part of this remarkable community. We hope you enjoy this edition of Vision Voice and continue to stand alongside us as we enter our next 25 years.
